I still can't figure out what I liked most, if the place or the people.

Anabela, an amazingly funny and intelligent woman( and the owner of Bairro do Casal) who spends her time between Ericeira and Murça do Douro, decided to change the destiny of the place where her mother was born, keeping it true to its roots. We fell for her and for the place itself.

A delicious still warm homemade cake was waiting for us, and, bread - cheese and sweet pastries -were delivered at our door at a chosen time every day.
Despite the cold weather we got the most warm and genuine welcome which made us feel we were truly at home.
A lot was left to see and visit, but i'll most certainly come back. Portugal is not an big country but a very rich one, and i intend to take my time exploring it properly.

Next stop > London, UK.
